A local radio talk show here in the Bay Area (KGO 810 am) ran an insightful interview this morning w/ FCC Chairman, Michael Powell. About half-way through the interview, Howard Stern actually called in to go head-to-head with the Chairman for about 20 minutes and grilled him on everything from double-standards on indecency fines to questioning his qualifications as Chairman! Fascinating!! It's worth checking out...especially if you have interest and/or are concerned about the FCC's role on decency standards and media ownership in this country.
