Subject Sticky fingers

I recently bought a used CD and neglected to look at the CD first.  Well,
its all covered with smudges - it looks like someone was eating glazed
donuts and put their fingers all over the CD front and back.  The marks are
dry, not sticky - but look like they might be cleanable.  Any suggestions on
how to clean a CD?
