It also doesn't have "Let Him Run Wild," which I think Brian vetoed because
he didn't like the recording; he covers it on Imagination...
I thought it was a great box. It reminded me of Dylan's Biograph, in that
it went through a lot of albums and did a fine job of plucking the one or
two gems off of each. Anyone can gripe about the selections on a box, but
objectively I thought this one was put together with knowledge and care.
Also, if it still comes with that bonus fifth disc, which was if I remember
correctly a bunch of backing tracks so you could sing along, the last track
on it-- a vintage rehearsal, a capella, of "Surfer Girl"-- is chillingly
exquisite.
