Hello all,
Adam Marsland and the Chaos Band played a SMOKIN' set last night at the Cyber Café in Binghamton NY. There were 25-30 people there and they were all very impressed and responded to the energy and good times the band was generating.
I had invited several of my friends, but only a couple could manage to get away from home and their TVs! The two who did attend had a good time and one of them even bought a CD!
It was the second keyboardist's (John) last night on the tour, but a local friend of Adam's (Charlie) is going to finish the tour with them and the one song he played with the band last night showed no drop in quality.
The Chaos Band provided plenty of backup vocals and rocked the club for over an hour. They play in Syracuse tonight at the Half-Penny and if you're anywhere near Syracuse you owe it to yourself (and your friends) to check them out.
Just so everyone else knows as well, Adam plays in Cambridge on Friday night, at Ira's house on Sunday afternoon and the Luna Lounge in NYC on Sunday night.
You will be very happy that you attended! I enjoyed it so much I bought TWO copies of his new CD (one is a birthday present for a friend who was unable to attend last night) and one of Evie Sands CDs (all three of her LP's have been released on CD; I have the LP's so I bought the "rarities" disc to complete my collection!)
I spoke some with Adam and he's having a blast but did admit that he wished a few more people would be able to attend his gigs. As his bumper sticker reads "looking for 20 new fans". Maybe you can help!
P.S. I don't work for Adam. I just like good music and especially like good LIVE music. The Chaos Band is a GREAT live band and an appreciative audience is a win-win for everyone!

Pop on!
John
