The Wherehouse chain is vanishing faster in SoCal than K-Mart. I am sure we
are going to see a lot of cool stuff in the bundle bins before their pending
departure Thanks for the tip!
Had a different type of bargain experience yesterday. Visited the quarterly
gathering of the San Diego Record Show. It's really living up to its title:
only one seller was pushing CDs--everybody else had boxes and boxes of
vinyl.
For $14, this is what I picked up--and mind you, you don't run into some of
these LPs everyday!
The Peppermint Rainbow--Will You Be Staying After Sunday?
Gene Clark--Two Sides To Every Story
Julie London--Julie Is My Name
The Brass Ring---Theme From "The Flight of The Phoenix." (This has famed
photographer Guy Webster's photo of a young Marianne Faithfull gracing the
cover!)
Happy hunting!
