they already are playing casinos as I'm seeing them
Oct. 30th in my hometown stompin' grounds of Atlantic
City. granted, I prefer the older jangly stuff then
the newer stuff, BUT I do find something I like in
each release. they're one of the bands where I get
each release as it comes out, sometimes it's been a
promo sometimes not. I do the same for superchunk,
the same for yo la tengo, etc.

some bands you just go with the ebb and flow as the
music addiction wave takes you for a ride. I've never
been disappointed in their live show and despite being
here in the DC area, and unable to attend the Vote for
Change finale in person, I watched on Sundance and
found their appreciation and slightly starstruck
approach to Springsteen endearing. I *always* get a
kick out of bands I like who sincerely get excited
over other people's music.

they're gonna do whatever the hell they want no matter
what we all say, so what can ya do? love it or leave
it, to each their own.

lauree
np (in constant rotation) Eugene Edwards and the
latest Dolorean cds!!!
