When I attempt to save/download mp3s I come across on line (e.g. on band web sites, etc.), it seems I'm only really saving the link, not the actual file. I use Real Player as my primary music software. I ultimately want to have the file on my hard drive, not just the link. I've played with trying to save these songs a number of ways, but still it seems I've only got the link (e.g. if I click it in my library, it "connects" me to the song).
I'm sure there's some simple thing here I don't understand. Can anyone help me out (in lay terms)?
