Not to go off on a tangent (goes against list etiquette, doesn't it?)
Speaking of etiquette!! God I HATE slurping sounds some people make
when drinking hot beverages!!! :)
I know your probably not really asking for this to be answered but
Sometimes the best discussions have started with a tangent (IM0).
Unlike mine, your tangent was on the general topic of music so no
foul. Sometimes music tangents can be annoying when they morph into
something the person simply wasn't meaning to convey or if it
overtakes the person's question and simply doesn't allow room for the
person's question to be answered. But, I think some of the best
fruit on this list comes from tangents. Plus, I'm of the opinion
that for every tangent there is an equal force known as the delete
key. Just my little 2 cent tangent.
So to get back on music..
I was a big Tom Verlaine (Television) fan back in the day (college).
Some how, I've never replaced my albums with CD's of his solo work.
I just picked up "Flashlight" and it's "stuck in my cd player" (let
the record state: for upstanding and virtuous reasons only). :)
But, Yes, I am smitten again.
If anyone cares here is my ranking and I'd love to see yours if you
care to
My Tom V. album ratings would be:
1) "S/T"
2) "Cover"
3) "Dreamtime"
4) "Flashlight"
5) "Word from the Front"
I NEED to purchase these again!!
