And yet...the much-reviled Capitol version of "Thank You, Girl" on The 
Beatles' Second Album remains one of my favorites.  Drowning in reverb, probably 
crappy-sounding to most ears, but to me it blasts outta the speakers like a 1964 
AM radio smash hit oughtta.  Roots of The Ramones, I'm tellin' ya, roots of 
The Ramones....
