Hi,
This is a late message... but thanks to customs I only got my copy of the
Beatles tribute set last Friday...
It's great... no doubt, some very very good versions.. , a couple I didn't
quite got into (e.g., "Drive My Car")... some I miss (e.g., "Ticket to
ride"...find it hard to believe no one submitted a version of it... but the
truth is that it doesn't even show in the outcuts set of disc #3)... bu I'm
posting because of one moment of disapointment: I was all set in end of
disc#1 for a well long powerful version of "I want you (she's so heavy)"
...and all I got was something under 1 min long... is my cd faulty... or is
everybody else's the same?
Was the song edited due to lack of space... can anyone shed a light?
Finally... I was truly amazed by Michael Carpenter's cover of "If I needed
someone"... very very well done!
