I don't categorically dismiss reunion gigs as a whole, just this one.
(Best gig I've seen all year was the Mission of Burma album release show
back in May.) It's not even tied to a CD reissue campaign or anything, so
I fail to see the point of this beyond the self-gratification of some
unreasonably bloated egos. Plus, I can't help but find the idea of men
well into their 50s singing a song like "Go All the Way" comically absurd.
But I fully admit that this is just me.
