Have to agree in large part w/ Stewart here-----all these huge egos(Wally
and Eric, in particular,w hich never stops w/ these two) burrying and
scurrying around like this is something *hugely* important earthwide event
in rock 'n roll history and drowning in delusion. It's a reunion of a band
that was hanging around 30 years ago, afterall.

It's a oldies reunion concert for balding middle-aged guys and potential
summer circuit concert barn burner for some extra cash---which IS perfectly
fine----like many these days, I love seeing these bands giving it a go, at
least *trying*. Sometimes it works great, other times not. It's our choice
to support--or not to support it.

If yr going to do it, just have FUN with it, okay?! and be nice to the
legacy of others that might have been in the band, at one time or another.

I was(and am very much still) a *huge* Raspberries fan, beginning to end.
Why on earth not have the other dudes on the back end on this, too? Could
not hurt.....less money to divy up? Guess so. So I understand if they had
to make that choice. Fact is, too, much as I love Starting Over, McCarl
and McBride only played on ONE album in their time as a band. It makes
sense, even if it's a bit of a disappointment. (and Scott is a nicest of
guys to boot)

(unobjective sidebar: the Starting Over band was the best band for the
'berries for my ears.)

It's not like the world is going to come crashing thru the doors to see
this....many of us would/will but realistically, what are we talking? If
they did a reunion CD, what would it sell here in the US? It would ship
15,000, sell 5,000. Double, possibly triple that that in Japan. Europe
could care less. That is IF it was any good, which is a big *if* as the
DNA trail for Carmen holding down the fort w/ writing decent upbeat, rockers
is long overgrown.

Anyway, HAVE FUN guys, forget the ego stuff--you should know better by
now---- just attempt to approach the whole get toether w/ a some
graciousiousness and thankfulness for the fact that are even here
breathing to enjoy doing it. Make it about the MUSIC. And hopefully we'll
get a CD out of this activity that will not suck.

Peace Out,
Bruce
