Wow, what a coincidence...
I saw the Morrissey show this past Sunday and from where I was sitting, I wasn't sure if it was Alain Whyte or someone else playing the lead guitar. When Morrissey introduced the band, I made a mental note to remember Jesse Tobias, as he was truly excellent that night. Morrissey seemed quite sincere in his admiration of his playing.
I'll have to hunt down the Splendid material.
