I heard this last night too - and agree - it sounded pretty poppy, but it also seemed tailored to McDonalds as it included their current tagline in the lyric.

Does anybody know anything about the artist/music in a
new McDonald's commercial: it features a 20-something
guy getting to his work desk early (with food in hand)
playing a game on his computer before the boss gets in
(boss thinks he's in there early and hard at
work)....sort of decent pop tune going on in the
background...
