"A must" is right, Stephen. I hate to get all schoolmarmish on you people,
but *The Kinks are the Village Green Preservation Society* is on the short
list of albums that every Auditeer must have.
Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Damon Albarn, and half of the pop songwriters
in Britain have memorized and regurgitated this album for years. It's *that*
seminal.
