i finally got my copy of this.
it's horrible. 3 panel digipak but
no booklet like the Canadian one. They scanned
the canadian cover instead of using my art files,
and there are huge amateur photoshop touch up smears
and marks all over the bad scans.
Tons of typos and the back tray song listing messes up
the unreleased track info.
It looks like a bad counterfeit cd.... we all assumed they
were using my art files but i guess not....
please avoid this and buy the Canadian one instead.
If you are a store and your supplier has switched this for the
Canadian one - please return it and ask for the real and original
Diodes cd on Sony Canada (it is a mid-price item as well) as it comes
with full liner notes and booklet.
Sony France just reissued a ton of cult cds in digipak form -
i hope they're not all as shoddy as this one.
It blows my mind. I have offered to re-design it for free for them -
we'll see if they go for it.
It just breaks my heart..... oh well...
