Hmm... I'm not sure what you mean here. The *very* short links (the
ones that are a couple of bars long) were created by Darian Sahanaja
and Paul Mertens (who incidentally isn't getting nearly the credit he
should be for his wonderful orchestrations on this and on Brian's last
album) based on phrases from the songs. However, the specific track
you refer to (Song For The Children) is a full track. The backing
track was recorded in 66 and has been bootlegged as Look. Whether the
lyrics and vocal melody were written then or are new now is only known
by Brian and Van Dyke...
