Indeed. "Dancing" was originally on the third Gen X album 'Kiss Me
Deadly'....the one featuring Steve Jones of the Pistols. Billy was still
contracted to Chrysalis in the US after Gen X split-up, so they just
pilferred the track, remixed it and voila. I'm not entirely sure, but I seem
to recall they remixed it again for the first Idol album (after the EP
release) with guitarist Steve Stevens added to the mix.
I'd check all these facts, but it would mean subscribing to All Music. Can't
bring myself to do that just yet.
