The Kid Lightning stuff is REALLY great, TallBoy
Records is going to put out a single with two tracks
that didn't make the record. (One called "Shitstorm"
which is funny because the songs are all acoustic and
very mellow.)
here's a tiny bit from the bio
"I wasn’t so sure at first. They’re pretty personal
songs about a really horrible break up, and, as lame
as it sounds, they were sort of my 'therapy,'"
continues the Kid, "…so I was worried they wouldn’t
make much sense to anyone else, and that they’d seem
really self-indulgent."
This is music to have regret to, but sometimes that's
a good thing! Definitely check out the website at

The Kid is on tour starting in a week or so, hitting a
few dates on the East Coast and then touring Spain.
