I've never heard their record but I have 2 live recordings of theirs and
they smoke.

awww guys c'mon don't be so tough on Los Lonely Boys... sure they're
commercial to the hilt... sure they sound at times like little Santana
clones but the one thing I picked up from this album was a live band, live
studio feel that I'd been missing from recent recording lately (one prime
example was the Youngbloods "Get Together" album... nice live studio feel
too)... dunno, just has that spin-the-tape (oops... flip on the digital) and
let's just kick some guitar licks to the tune of some passable melodies and
lyrics... just some good disposable (or staying power?) fun I guess...
