It's become a joke on our radio show over the years whenever I talk about 
"The Greatest Record Ever Made," because I keep changing my mind about it.


Same here. If Judy asked me this question every day, I'd probably name 365
different all-time-favorite songs by the end of the year.

But today I'm giving the honor to one that's a perennial contender: "Alex
Chilton" by the Replacements, because it poleaxed me right between the eyes
at a time in my life when I was this close to giving up on rock'n'roll
entirely.

Seriously.
