Hi folks -
Forwarding the below from our old pal Julie (aka Daisy Knows Rock), who
forwarded it from Frank Padellaro of King Radio. Show dates are included --

It has been a pretty good summer, I must say. But it's over now, so don't go
wearing white pants and sipping summer cocktails for very much longer. You
will seem terribly out of place, when everything around you is dying. Because
that's what Autumn is. Some will try to sell you on the whole beauty of
rebirth thing, but don't believe them. You're surrounded by nature in it's
death throw. Do you think those squirrels you see scurrying around see the
beauty of rebirth? No way, Jose. They are not going gently into that good
night. Against all odds they are going to try and weather this thing out. Do
you ever notice the sharp increase in road kill this time of year? I always
wondered if some of them just can't take it. Not another winter. Not another
year of my mate looking at me sideways as if to say, "do you really think
you've saved enough nuts this year? It's going to be a long winter. I don't
want the children going hungry again." I know the prospect of shoveling the
driveway again has me thinking of pitching myself in front of a moving garbage
truck. On second thought, maybe I'll just buy a snowblower. Something to
putter with to wait out the winter.
Anyhow, we are playing some dates out of our usual sphere of influence. I
hope to see you at one of the following shows. If you know a friend in one of
these places, please let them know they are missing a great opportunity to see
an eleven piece band play the living crap out of some soft rock music:
