Right on, Stephen. Wheat's new album is tremendous. So is their earlier one,
Hope and Adams, which I believe is out of print, although Aware/Columbia, the
band's current label, has put out a sampler that includes songs from all three
of Wheat's albums and one track from an album that has gone unreleased.
Hope and Adams isn't as slick, certainly, but it shows a band on its way to
more great things.
