I know there are some devoted fans of both the Wind and Noel Coward's Ghost
around here, so I thought I'd put in a good word for his most recent work.
R. Stevie Moore has a new CD coming out called FAR OUT, and the second song
is a collaboration with Lane Steinberg called "What Do I Do With The Rest
Of My Life?/Don't Bore Us, Get To The Chorus." To my ears, it sounds like
one of those little multi-part pop operettas that Paul McCartney was so
fond of back in the Wings days: Lane's song (the first part, which he
sings), which sounds like one of those short little acoustic songs on Big
Star's #1 RECORD, going back and forth with Stevie's song, which true to
the title is basically a repeated chorus. Anyway, it's outstanding, one of
the best songs Stevie's done in years, and I can't recommend it highly
