Its hard for me to pick of a all-time favorite since oldies and classic rock
radio overplay has dulled the sharpness of many of them. I tried to think of
"evergreens" - great records I always turn up when I hear them on the
radio, or
ones I will dig out and play.
Happy Together - Turtles (the first 45 I wanted to buy - I was 7)
Turn Turn Turn - Byrds
I Feel Fine - Beatles
Maybe Baby - Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Any Way You Want It - Dave Clark Five
California Girls - Beach Boys
There She Goes - The La's
Rag Doll - The 4 Seasons
I'm Alive - The Hollies
I'm Gonna Be Strong - Gene Pitney
I Got You - Split Enz
Live - Emmit Rhodes & The Merry Go Round
Everything That Touches You - Association
I Only Want To Be With You - Dusty Springfield
It's The Same Old Song - 4 Tops
A New England - Kirsty MacColl
So Sad About Us - The Who
Cruel To Be Kind - Nick Lowe
Waterloo Sunset - The Kinks
1,2,3 Red Light - 1910 Fruitgum Company
Jimmy Mack - Martha Reeves & The Vandellas
I Saw The Light - Todd Rundgren
How High The Moon - Les Paul & Mary Ford
Then He Kissed Me - Crystals
I'm On Fire - Dwight Twilley Band
Love And Mercy - Brian Wilson
Whenever You're On My Mind - Marshall Chrenshaw
Anna - Spongetones
Tracy Hide - Wondermints
...ah I better stop
Billy
PS: Happy Birthday David!!
