Randy Bachman has been quoted as saying (and I paraphrase here): "There is 
no room for committees in bands...nothing gets done. There has to be a 
dictator so that decisions can be made." (I believe this was in reference to 
BTO specifically because he was always in battles with his brothers over the 
direction of the group....so he made the decision making easy for them...he 
left.).
