Though I didn't actually buy his first album until about 9 years after it came out, I do remember really liking "All By Myself" and "Never Gonna Fall In Love Again" when I heard them on the radio when they came out. When I finally got the first solo album and listened to it all, I was going thru one of thoe great changes that happens in life, a crossroads if you will. This album seemed to speak to me on most of the tracks. I really liked it. I try listening to it a few times when everyday life is happening and it just doesn't move me. But everytime some big event happens in my life like moving to a new town, divorce, death of an old friend, breakup, major job change. This album seems to lift my spirits and keeps me moving forward. I think that's why I like it alot, but it's not something I could listen to everyday.
