Two quick replies to recent posts:
Greg wrote about Disney's The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh. This was a
PIVOTAL movie in my young life. I'll see "that mask" and those frenzied
rides through the countryside in my minds eye for the rest of my days. I
can hardly wait for the DVD release. My other favorite from that era is
"The 3 Lives of Tomasina". Completely different animal (sorry), but the
"cat goes up the big staircase to cat heaven" scene blew me away as a
child. 'Bout scared me to death! Great memories, thanks Greg, wonderful
to know that like-minded folks are still out there.
Knock-out cover?
It's always amazed me that I've yet to catch somebody covering the
Plimsouls "Oldest Story In the World". I'm guessing that one or more of
you all *have* covered it and I've just not been around to enjoy it.
Maybe I can get Cliff H. to learn / play it for my 50th Birthday Party
(still half a decade away, should I be so lucky!).
