KYA, KFRC, KEWB and KDIA--- the top-40 music-playing radio stations of 
my youth. Add in KSFO for Don Sherwood, Al Collins  and especially the 
Giants (Lon Simmons & Russ Hodges!), and KGO for Ira Blue and Owen 
Spann, and it's no wonder I decided early to get into radio. 

I miss what radio was.
