Hi everyone,
I've had mixed feelings about suddenly appearing on the Audities board just
to bring bad news. I realize that nobody (except Robbie) ever met Carrie
Lindsey. But she, along with her husband and daughter, were killed in a horrible
automobile accident last Sunday. They were on their way back from Beatle-Fest in
Chicago when a car going the opposite way on the highway veered across the
median and broadsided their vehicle. The cars instantly caught fire. Five people
were killed, including those in the car that hit them. The cause is still
under investigation.
Carrie, in addition to having been my girlfriend several years ago, is the
woman who laid-out the last three issues of Yellow Pills. She contributed
greatly to the look of the magazine, and was also my muse in creating those issues.
I hadn't seen her in five years when I learned of the tragic news, and felt
bad I never had the chance to say good-bye -- if unknowingly.
Anyway, I felt I had to share. Her work subtlely but directly impacted
whoever read and enjoyed Yellow Pills.
