Tomorrow is the DVD release of Mayor Of The Sunset Strip. I got a call
today from a friend who said that Chris Carter and Rodney were down at
Virgin tonight signing copies.

I'll have to pick it up. I still haven't seen it.

While browsing online, I also noticed that on 9/14/04 there's a Freaks
and Geeks soundtrack being released:

1. Joan Jett - Bad Reputation
2. Michael Andrews - Geek Holiday
3. Warren Zevon - Poor Poor Pitiful Me
4. Michael Andrews - Lindsay's Theme
5. Michael Andrews - Keg Party Music
6. Joe Jackson - Look Sharp
7. Michael Andrews - Clem's Theme
8. XTC - No Language In Our Lungs
9. Michael Andrews - Lindsay Disturbed Theme
10. Paul Feig - Bill Get's Funky (A.K.A. Spacefunk)
11. Michael Andrews - U.S.A. Rock
12. Rush - The Spirit of Radio
13. Michael Andrews - Daniel's Theme 2
14. The Who - I'm One
15. Michael Andrews - Porno Music
16. Michael Andrews - Neal's Lament
17. Heatwave - The Groove Line
18. Michael Andrews - Ken's Ode To Joy
19. Styx - Come Sail Away
20. Michael Andrews - End Title Theme
21. Nick Andopolis - Lady L
22. Mr. Rosso - Eighteen
23. Nick Andopolis and Millie Kentner - Jesus Is Just Allright
24. Mr. Rosso & Feedback - Up On Cripple Creek
25. The Leaving Trains - Dumb As A Crayon

It looks like most instrumental music and songs sung by the characters
in the episodes alongside a few actual songs played on the show. Michael
Andrews by the way is from the band Elgin Park and also did the music
for Wonderfalls. He is the one who had the modest hit with Gary Jules
with the cover of Tears For Fears' "Mad World" and I think it was him
who I met outside of IPO about a month ago at The Knitting Factory.

I was talking to him in line and he told me that he had done the music
for Wonderfalls because they were showing two unaired episodes for it at
Knitting Factory a couple of weeks after the show we were at.
