My band is searching for some kick ass covers that no band
in their right mind would try and pull off in a club.
We do "Turn to Stone", by ELO and it's a winner everytime.
We also do "Last Child", by Aerosmith...again..knocks 'em dead.
People know these songs and react.
What songs would surprise you to hear covered by a band in a club that most folks would know--
sorry, no Myracle Brah songs 8-)--
Yes, we have 4 part harmonies to work with.
We're not into metal.(at least not the lead singer)
And NO Bohemian Rhapsody.
I just heard a live Phish cover of B.H. btw, and it was
Paaaaiiinnnfffuuulll. They were having fun, though- probably a halloween show.
The guitarist held it together pretty well musically, though.
Anyway...I can't be subjective enought to come up with anything...none of us can.. aaarrg.
So please take a sec. and think about it.
I look forward to your suggestions.
