Thought i'd chime in on those yellow pills comps. my fav by far has to be a song from the 7" that came out once. Some Sunny Day by Warren and Sullivan. I think their from St. Louis. Is one of them a writer perhaps? Blue Summer by Cherry Twister is a close second.
I too was only able to check one IPO show in SF. WC and the DK'S were awesome. CVS was swell as allways Good to see the Coxes, Linda T and Wade. also to meet Jeff Shelton
The real treat for me was to meet Ken Stringfellow at another gig later that night across town. Chatted easily for at least 40 mins. The kicker was i invited him to the restaraunt that I manage in the Napa valley the next night and he showed up!!! Got to hang for another 1/2 hour or so. Couldnt meet a nicer guy.
