The Record and Tape Exchange in Camden was the bomb when I lived
there 21 years ago. I think it's still there. I think it's right at
the Chalk Farm tube stop. Time fades, memories dim.
Even though you've probably been to a Virgin store in the US, you
should really check out the original Virgin mega-store at the
intersection of Tottenham Court Rd & Oxford Street. Mega is right.
Lots of great stores in and around the Portobello Road market area.
Great on a Saturday morning.
