From time to time I see posts from folks wondering what's going on with Van Duren. I just received the e-mail below and thought I would pass it on to the list.

Memphis singer/ songwriter/ producer Van Duren performs solo every Tuesday from 7 - 11 p.m. at Reedmeister's, 3439 Park Avenue. There is no cover charge. There is a full bar and menu.
Van Duren was formerly in the band Good Question and the Hoehn Duren Band. He is at work on his first solo album in 25 years with Roc Crockett at Puddin' Truck Studio in Shelby Forest. His earlier solo albums are being released on cd by Terry Manning's Lucky Seven Records (http://www.luckysevenrecords.com). Van has also been performing with Reba Russell in a band that includes Wayne Russell, Terry Ferguson and James Cunningham. Solo Tuesdays feature a wide range of material from Van's 30+years of writing as well as gems by other artists such as Brian Wilson, Randy Newman, Neil Finn, Todd Rundgren and others!
