I kept in touch with Dan casually for a bit. He did come back from Taiwan
and moved to Chicago. That was probably two years ago or so. At the time,
he was on great terms with all his former band mates, but he indicated to me
that they would all be getting on with their lives in other ways and he
didn't believe they would be making music together again.
Very much agreed - Javelin Boot was a terrific little rock band!

I was just listening to something I hadn't played in a while --
"Fundamentally Sound" by Javelin Boot. I forgot how much I liked that disc.
Anybody know whatever became of Dan O'Neill after he went to Taiwan (and, I
believe, returned to the U.S. a few years later)? I gather he didn't go back
to Austin, and Javelin Boot is no more, but I always held out hope there
might be some more music in some form... Dan used to be an Audities
subscriber; did anybody keep in touch?
