Not the guitarist, but the singer, Rusty Day. Murdered in a pretty grisly
(machine gun) affair along with his son and someone else in his Florida
home. In other words, not an accident. I believe the case never closed.

At least the Jim McCarty props were delivered. AMAZING.

To each his own and all that, but Cactus was not BBA or Vanilla Fudge.
Cactus (the original lineup, anyway) SMOKED!

Now the Appice/Bogert/McCarty/Day-less SON OF CACTUS sucked in
technicolor...but without ALL FOUR band members, it wasn't Cactus.
