At my new place of employment -- http://www.sonicbids.com/, and you're all
encouraged to sign up if you haven't already -- we use our ipods as an office
jukebox, hooking them up to one of those funky-looking JBL speaker-and-dock
systems. Tomorrow I'll be bringing my ipod in for the first time, and I must
say, the pressure to impress is ENORMOUS. Sharing a few tunes with a friend is
one thing, but serenading your coworkers all day is a very different story.
The good news is that my playlist includes a few of the very talented folks on
this very list. I'll be sure to pass along any good feedback.

Also - I forgot to toot my own horn when Boston Pop Underground got some nice
press last week. Permit me to toot now:

http://www.bostonpopunderground.com/press/metro.html (That's me, right above
Bleu.)

And one more toot: coming up Thursday, August 12th, Boston Pop Underground is
proud to present Mic Harrison, of Superdrag, (with Don Coffey Jr on skins),
with special guests Andrea Gillis and up-and-coming Boston pop sensations The
Unbusted. Boston-area auditeers are encouraged to attend! This'll be good.
Lizard Lounge, Mass. Ave, Cambridge. See ya there.

Cheers!
Andrea
