I have never seen her show on MTV. Saw her once or twice on her ensemble family drama "7th Heaven" about five or six years ago. Picked up her album based on the sound of the single and John Shanks involvement. I really like the album. I've only had two listens in the car but I'll see if it stays in the car for at least a month to really catch my attention.

From what others have told me after viewing the show is that they thought she was a brat who is being handed everything on a silver platter and the record executives appear to be idiots. No one has ever mentioned the word "creepy". Perhaps I should see this show. I like to avoid these sort of shows and listen to the music first on its own merits. It almost sounds like the television program would have turned me off from purchasing the album.

We've been playing the song "Pieces Of Me" for a few months now and not a single listener has called in to request the song. It could be that we just jumped on the record too early when MTV hadn't begun to air the show and no other station in Hawaii would play the song for another two months. If the other DJs didn't like the song and support it - it would probably never get played again. Our phone lines can really dictate how much a song can get played. Can you tell we are not a Clear Channel company? Listeners still on occasion request "Brand New Day" from Ken Sharp, "Closing Time" from Semisonic and "Soak Up The Sun" from Sherly Crow so it's really interesting how long a song can stay around in this small town and still get an emotional response for someone to call and ask "Hey - could you play...?".

Aloha,
