Most specifically, like Siamese Dream.  I tried so hard to like that record.
Also Nevermind.

Those Beatles songs don't do it.  IWY(SSH) builds slowly from soft to loud,
and I don't hear any loud/soft thing in GTGYIML.  Look at the levels of the
songs in a wav editor.

Besides, you don't want to be arguing that the Beatles invented the
loud/soft thing too, do you?
