Many Thanks Herb!

I hope many on this list check this one out, for the reasons you mention
below--and others.......there's not a big market for this type of thing(in
fact, it's very, very small) and it's important that folks who support this
music , at the least, take a close look at such labors of love by labels
like NL, Bullseye and (fortunately) others doing these types of reissues as
every sale on them does matter with continuing them. When yr selling
hundreds of these things, trust me, it has a direct contribution to the
bottom line with making more of this thing happen.

It's always surprising to me how little interest comes from online power
pop-related boards w/ reissues like this when the content, the music appear
to hit the direct mark, in theory, for quite a few folks. Is it
downloading, cd copying, apathy, the Onion article factor(while that cracked
me up greatly, it sadly hits close to home with what am finding with a lot
of people these days...enjoying music has become tiresome, pedestrian for
many who used to be fanatical about it----there's an interesting article for
Fufkin to consider, Mike!), combinations of all the above, more? who
knows. I certainly don't. But damning the torpedoes, we do them purely out
of the importance of archiving this stuff. It matters.

Anyway, w/ Blue Ash the quality IS there w/ a release like this(and it's a
great package,a s well), so I'm unapologetic about encouraging folks to
check this baby out as it's a direct feeding line into the ethos of what
this list covers so here's za link:

(and on the even more obscure side, REDDY TEDDY, which is an obscure
rock/power pop band from Boston in the early/mid 70's who sound like a
combination of The Who, NY Dolls, Badfinger and early Aerosmith and Alice
Cooper.....odd combination, certainly, but such were the times this came
from!)

Anyway, POP ON,
