Subject: Beer talk

BEER SNOB HERe>

As of July 1st the alchohol level in beer was allowed to got up to like 12%, or something, which means that
all the kick ass beers from the UK and Ireland and Scotland and Bavaria, Germany, etc, can finally be gotten
here in Atlanta. Of course that means the beers cost like $3 to $10 each. On the downside I think they were sort of scrambling to find high octane beer that was fresh. They are putting out beers from 2000 as if it were "vintage".
Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but beer doesn't generally get better with age.(unless you're talking a Lambic, or something.) Anyways...my fave so far has been the Scottish ale called, get this, Headsplitter Ale! Very tasty.
This is so off topic...but me likey.
later, joe
