Greetings,

Have you ever really had a love affair with a record/cd. Of course you have.
I am currently having a love affair with Jolie Holland's "Escondida". I
can't stop playing it. I love her twangy accent and the way that she wraps it
around the sylables of each word. I love how her voice and a trumpet part can
seamlessy become one entity. I love the images that the words conjure up in my
head. I can't stop playing this cd. Buy it now.
I am feeling a similar thing for Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter's "Oh My
Girl". Incredibly moving stuff.
Both of these cds envelope me like a warm fog that I can't wait to sink into.

Michael
