One of the things I highly appreciate about audities is the fact that names of bands and artists are dropped on here... Upon searching for their music I usually end up with individual band member names which, in turn, link me to their current band or project... I gotta say that audities has been a great source to help me expand my power pop collection (thanks to Brian Kassan who introduced me to this newsgroup) (violins)...
...That was said for me to also drop a name of a band that perhaps many of you are familiar with and if not I highly recommend... Catchy, tuneful and great tastes of Lennonisque lyrical wit (i.e. "...How can you see me coming? When I'm nowhere near here")... A hint of The Beatles (a hint mind you, not total inluence) but just enough to spice up their own unique brand of pop... Do yourself a favor and, if you haven't already yet, look into The Lackloves... In the words of the great philosopher Stan Lee; 'nuff said...
