As far as selling used CD's I think Jack has the best analysis... probably
redundant at this point but hope this helps:

1) Used CD stores... avoid them at all cost... They will, as Jack mentioned,
screw you royally and probably insult you with a $2 offer for those nice
CD's of yours (If they happen to see a rare gem they might up the offer to
$5 ... then you really start feeling the "pressure", especially after they
re-sell it at a 400% markup... lol

2) Half.com... It's ok but your CD's may sit there forever "waiting" for
someone who happens to be searching for that particular title to decide to
hop over to Half.com after unsuccessfully searching thru Ebay and GEMM, etc.
It's a wait and see game that I think is good for power-sellers who can
afford to sit on their inventory

3) Ebay... No doubt the best route... You set your starting price (and can
even set your reserve price for a minimal fee)... I have to believe that
99.9% of all music seekers go to Ebay first to see if they can find a
particular recording in used but great condition and at a fair price... I've
used Ebay for years and with over 400 positive feedbacks it is my preferred
spot to purchase and sell... Best way to pay via Ebay is PayPal in the
unprobable (but possible) situation that a seller may not come thru... I've
had a couple of these episodes and I've reported them to PayPal and PayPal
in turn gets in touch with them threatening to close their accounts and I've
either recv'd my merchandise or a prompt refund with an email begging me to
cancel my complaint...hehehe...

Hope this helps as I've chimed in with the Beamer to confirm his take on
selling used CD's...

Cheers,

Miguel
Homestead, Fl

PS Bruce @ NotLame...I WANT that upcoming Beatles' tribute... here I come!
lol
