Steve:

Wow! Pretty thorough analysis of the new Sloan record!
I actually interviewed Chris Murphy and wrote a piece on the
band in the latest issue of Amplifier. I also share your sentiments
on Action Pact. Still...my fave is "One Chord to Another"...the
best Revolver outtakes any band besides the Beatles have pulled of.
Here's my ranking

1. One Chord to Another
2. Between the Bridges
3. Navy Blues
4. Action Pact
5. Twice Removed
6. Pretty Together
7. Smeared (to bloody MBV for my ears :-)
