Josh, depends...

1) Proud: If you follow music but have managed to tune them out of 
your world.

2) Embarrassed: If you have NOT had a chance to listen to Nickelback 
per your still finishing your thesis entitled: "Chris Gaines: 
Unappreciated alter ego or moment of genius?"


I'm guessing you #1. I've only barely heard of them too. If I recall, 
you're like me, hardly listen to radio and such. Sometimes (rarely 
though) ignorance can be bliss... Nickelwho?
