Kaz has her own collection, but the two piles of music overlap some. I'm sure
there are a couple of bands she likes that aren't my favorite and vicky
verky. Mostly we covet stuff that each other has found. Vacations are planned
around musical events. No matter what, we usually make time for record
shopping. Two heads are better than one, when time is critical. I have a
good idea what's in her collection, and she knows what sort of stuff I like.
It does turn out she does read all the mags that come through the house.
There is always some gem she has read about and thought to buy. I'm usually
digging through the singles, especially when junk shopping.

I have more than a few friends who's spouses don't like music at all, or just
ABBA! There are only a few "rock wives" that we can count on to be at gigs.

I guess this can all be traced to the fact I met her in a record shop. I'd
worked up some good skills when I worked in shops, but by this time neither
of us were clerks. Just starry eyed and smitten.
