The things I do when I'm on deadline and sick of writing, but I retire
after this, because I think people are starting to get sick of this thread.
Aqua takes the full six steps:
Aqua>Johnny Jam>Mandy Moore>Evan Dando>Kirsty MacColl>Terry Williams
Johnny Jam is a Swedish producer/keyboardist who worked with both Aqua and
Mandy Moore. Evan Dando sang on Moore's COVERAGE and duetted with Kirsty
on her cover of "Perfect Day." Terry Williams played drums on Tracey
Ullman's second album, which Kirsty co-produced.
Schoolly D requires a possible cheat that may get called foul, and also
goes over by a step:
Schoolly D>Glenn Danzig>Chris D.>Green On Red>Jim Dickinson>Flamin'
Groovies>Dave Edmunds
Schoolly D performs the theme and does voiceovers on Aqua Teen Hunger
Force, which guest-starred Glenn Danzig in one episode. The Misfits' WALK
AMONG US was produced by Chris D., who also produced Green On Red's GRAVITY
WALKS. Green On Red's THE KILLER INSIDE ME was produced by Jim Dickinson,
who played piano on the Groovies' TEENAGE HEAD album. Dave Edmunds produced
"Shake Some Action."
David Dundas required me to find out who the hell David Dundas was, but it
turned out to be the easiest of the lot:
David Dundas>Alan Tarney>Squeeze>Dave Edmunds
Alan Tarney played bass on David Dundas' first album. He produced
Squeeze's "Annie Get Your Gun." Dave Edmunds produced Squeeze's "In
Quintessence."
