Very impressive!  I just thought of five obscure artists at random.  
However, I was curious what your source information was on Plastic Bertrand 
using the Elton Motello track -- I thought the Bertrand song came out first 
(and Ralph sure has some good info on that).

I'd bet you couldn't connect the other four by the end of the day today, but 
I'm sure I'd lose that bet.  Let's all chip in to get Stewart on Jeopardy -- 
I think he could win $ 1 million.
